This was a really bad stop. We docked an hour late. Paris and Normandy excursions were pricey and far away so we thought we would just explore the port but it was a terrible port. Turned out to be cold, windy and rainy and all there was to do is shopping and nothing to see. Very industrial. Read Less

I got down at Le Havre ( which mind you is 2 hours drive away from Paris!) There was nothing much to do here at all and the city is a bit of a ghost town if I am honest. There is a small shopping centre with a H&M and 10-15 other stores if you want to pick up sandals or a bikini last minute, but other than that its not a port I will be visiting again! Read Less

It was a Sunday, most places closed. Place seemed dull and boring, maybe we should head to the beach rather than city centre next time. There is a shuttle bus to the centre of town and shopping area from the dock costs $4 for unlimited rides. Read Less

The vessel docked in Le Harve on Bastille Day. The thought of a 9-hour excursion into Paris, which was closed down in many areas due to National Celebrations, was too much for us! That said the cost of the excursions were very high - especially when one did not include lunch. I suspect we could get the train from London to paris cheaper. Therefore we stayed on the boat which was pretty empty. Had the run of the place and really enjoyed a relaxing day before departing for home. Read Less

Le Havre is pretty enough but it being Bastille Day family only ventured to the beach and wandered its avenues. Most shops and bars etc were closed so the town was fairly quiet. I remained on the ship to enjoy and relax. Read Less

We saw the Eiffel Tower independently before taking the evening tour and it was well worth seeing it four times in one trip. See8mg it at night is unforgettable. Read Less

We stayed four days prior to our cruise on a barge near the Eiffel Tower that we booked thru Airbnb. The barge accommodated all eight in our party and was near the Bir Hakeim metro station allowing us access to all of the sites in Paris. Read Less

Enjoyed our visit to Le Havre......explored on our own. Had never visited this port before. Did not want to ride six hours round-trip to spend a couple of hours in Paris. Make sure to pay the 4 euros and take advantage of the shuttle bus as it guarantees your return to the ship.
