Shuttle bus into town where there are lots of shops and cafes. We had visited before so decided to take the HoHo bus from the port. This cost 10 euros and was good value as it took us round the town and out to the peninsula. We saw some lovely places before getting off at Pittulongu beach which was really beautiful. There are cafes and clean toilets (50cents). A little longer we caught the bus back into Olbia. We had a lovely day Read Less

Really enjoyed the Molara and Tavolara island experience by a zodiac and snorkeling. Definitely explore this. Due to rain could not fully experience it all but happy I went out.

We loved Olbia. We chartered a boat for the day that took us all around the area for 4 hours and then dropped us right off at a beautiful beach club. We ate dinner in town that night and really enjoyed ourselves

We had a bit of a walk round in Olbia, not alot to see really. There is a beautiful "caribbean" beach which is approximately 8km from the port which I'm sure is well worth a visit

The Lecce: Florence of the South walking tour was okay. Lecce is not in the same league as Florence. They obviously wish they were, based on the name of the tour. My least favorite excursion.

We actually went on a trip to the island of La Maddalena. This entailed both coach and ferry travel. There was a lot of coach travel and when we got back to the town centre we barely had time for a coffee.

Again we thought the excursions very pricey. We took a bus tour from Olbia to Porto Cervo and Costa Smeralda for €25 each where the ship was charging €50 just for Porto Cervo. It's much cheaper to organise your own excursions when you get to the Port. Both of these places were amazing and I highly recommend. If you go to Costa Smeralda take your swimming gear. As we didn't know what we were doing when we got to Olbia , we didn't and regretted it as the beach was beautiful. Read Less
