Excellent docents with small groups of 25 visitors, period furniture, able to roam the property with a map of interesting sites, restaurant and souvenir shop.

River was very high and we just stepped from boat to levee. Oak Alley grounds were perfect for visiting lovely gardens and out buildings.

Loved the plantation and the mint julep (or lemon julep that I had which was half lemonade/half mint julep) was a nice touch of southern hospitality.

Beautiful plantation. A bit of walking required. Great on-site guides and the best stop on the cruise.

Beautiful home! Carefully and lovingly maintained. Guides well prepared. So peaceful to walk under the oaks in the quiet of its day.
