BACKGROUND: This is a detailed review so if you’d like to skip to a section the order is embarkation, ship, food, entertainment & activities, service, fitness & spa, Bermuda, cabin, debarkation, summary. This 7 night Bermuda cruise was our 7th cruise and third on Celebrity. We sailed in an aqua class room which was a first for us, there will be more on that in service, food, and cabin. Our ...

My husband and I have been cruising since our honeymoon 30+ years ago (which my parents bought us as a wedding present). During the pandemic we were so sad that we could not sail. We cancelled two or three cruises during that period (or they were canceled by the cruise lines). Finally we were able to sail on June 19 on our favorite ship, the Celebrity Summit. We had sailed on her six times ...

Embarkation from Bayonne NJ: Upon arrival to the cruise terminal everyone was friendly and helpful. Without delay, we dropped off our large luggage and parked in the adjacent garage. Once inside the terminal, masks were required, but some opted out. Mask wearing was only slightly enforced. We breezed through security, and final document checkpoint and were then directed to a seating area for ...

Great Cruise, horrible pre-cruise support.

The cruise itself was great. Unfortunately, there was an approaching storm, so we had to leave Bermuda a day early. Weather happens so I didn't take off any points. The worst part was pre-cruise support. Horrible. I did not factor it into the overall rating otherwise it would have been 1 star (or bubble), it was that bad. They did a last-minute itinerary change because Celebrity didn't ...

GREAT CRUISE ON THE 5/23 SUMMIT

We booked this cruise the first of March mostly because of the itinerary to Newport, RI, Bermuda, and Charleston, SC. After being spoiled with a half full Millennium cruise to Alaska in September, the 1800 on the Summit it felt a little crowded. The cruise before us had a problem with covid numbers (35), but ours was not too bad (17). According to Rich, the cruise director, seven of those ...

Awesome Oasis of the Seas cruise

The biggest reason for this cruise was going on an Oasis class ship. Considering the size with 5700 guests, never really felt crowded except sometimes trying to find a table at times in the Windjammer. Perfect Day at Coco Cay was just that. We splurged for a cabana and now I don't think we would go with out one again, the service was great. it was nice to have a place to go relax in the shade, the ...

Last Minute Cruise to England on the Anthem OTS, May 2022 We had been shuffling our feet about any big trips for the spring of 2022, mostly because of COVID uncertainty and a poor experience on a short cruise impacted by woefully inadequate staffing and supplies with MSC in March. We were the “surge” (3,300 passengers) after months of less than 1,000 passengers. However, when we saw that RCL ...

I want to start this review by saying that I walked off the ship sobbing. I had such a great time and made so many wonderful people, I did not want it to end. Background Information: This was my 40th cruise, and I have have been on approximately 20 Royal Caribbean Cruises. I traveled with my husband and two daughters who are in their 20s. My husband and I live on Long Island and my ...

We chose to take this cruise because it left from New Jersey (a port we could drive to) and visited Coco Cay. Embarkation was simple as long as you arrived at your allotted time and NOT EARLY. Otherwise you had to wait in line. We got right in and quickly through the boarding process. The expedite children under 12 so that made it even easier for us. Anthem is a great cool weather ship. ...

so have been on many cruises both carnival and RCC and wanted something easy without hassles with covid still here, since I live in NJ ,I decided even though its colder then flying to Florida I would not have to worry between flights being cancelled and covid test where to find etc.So off to the CVS center and 10 minutes later NEGATIVE results and free with your medicare ,off to pack to get on ...
