We decided to go on this cruise because on son and his family were going. It was a short 5 night cruise out of Bayonne NJ. When we entered the parking lot- it was mobbed- other cruise ships using it- we had to go to a distant outdoor lot. A walk from the terminal. They did have a shuttle bus if you wanted to wait for it. I wanted to experience this transatlantic cruise to honor grandparents who braved this experience years ago. This ship, however, was so stable that at times it did not seem to be moving--fantastic weather.

This is a cruise “critic” board. That said, First let me say I tell it like it is and don’t sugar coat nothing, we’re nearing diamond plus so this isn’t our first rodeo, second let me say that we’ve been on anthem before and our first time on Anthem was so much better. Let me start with the pros:

We sailed out of Cape Liberty, NJ on Dec. 28th, 2019, at 3:00 PM for an eight day cruise. We returned on Jan. 5th, 2020 to the same port at 6:00 AM. We had three ports of call; Cape, Nassau, Bahamas and Royals own Island "Perfect Day".
