So disappointed!

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

My husband & I have been on Royal multiple times. In fact, one of our favorite cruises of all was on the Rhapsody - Greece & the Adriatic. We chose the Canada & New England cruise because of the itinerary. Unfortunately, this cruise ended up being the most disappointing cruise my husband and I have ever taken. We understood that the Adventure of the Seas is an older ship. We expected the ...

Old, dirty and bad food

This was the only cruise available for the time and itinerary for us. Getting on board was not so bad, lunch was ready before we could get into our stateroom. The room was a good size with plenty of storage area. There was a "cooler" for drinks, but we never got ice to go in it. The shower was black mold and all around the bottom, needed a good scrubbing. The balcony was the same way, ...

Not the best cruise I've experienced on a Royal ship

September 24th, 2022 we boarded Adventure of the seas from Bayonne NJ. Embarkation was a breeze, easiest boarding I've ever had. Debarkation was great also. They have really streamlined the whole process. I had cabin on deck 12. Spacious oceanview cabin. It was spectacular! Great size overall, plenty of storage, bathroom was standard. Room attended was fantastic. The bed was flat and ...

we bought the dinning package you could not make reservations until you got on the ship and connected to internet that took an hour, by the time we were able to do that there were no spots available we literally had to beg for a time and it was late we went to guest services and they pretty much said o well not happy at all. We did eat in main dinning room one time for lunch the crew was ...

Not what I expect from Royal Caribbean.

My cruise in one word ... Disappointing. Royal Caribbean is our "go-to" cruise line. But, this cruise may change that mindset Our cabin was in need of up-dating. There were stains on the furniture. The carpet was worn, and stained. The refrigerator was dirty and sticky inside. There was a large crack in the shower door. The Windjammer was bland, and seemed to be concentrated on ...

We chose to take this short cruise from our home port in the NY area because the price was good. My wife and I sailed on Royal Caribbean once before on Navigator OTS. We have cruised with primarily with Princess and NCL in the past. For this short Adventure cruise, we took our 4 year old daughter along. We booked cabin 7500 which is an "Ultra Spacious Ocean View." The cabin layout is unique and ...

Too crowded covid still being on ship

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

The ship was filled to capacity 100%. there was no social distancing because I could not avoid the crowds. I thought the ship would not be packed full. What a joke. I would have not booked the cruise this soon but at the time I was told I would lose my credits from the previous cruise that was cancelled. I would have like to wait longer because COVID is not over yet. We were all feeling a bit ...

Uncomfortably Crowded

In today's economic climate, things will change. It was inevitable that cruise lines will try to make up for lost time by booking as many people as possible. However, if you cruised anything in the past and observed the insane crowds it just became uncomfortable to do even the most menial things on this ship. Even trivia games were full capacity. Sure, over time it was ok to find some ...

Don't Choose Celebrity Cruises To Celebrate Your Special Occasion

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Celebrity Summit

My husband and I booked the cruise on the Celebrity Summit to celebrate our anniversary (11 years married; 21 years together). We told the booking representative at Celebrity Cruises about our anniversary when we reserved, and the note appeared on our confirmation documentation. The Celebrity Summit did NOTHING to help us celebrate our special occasion during the cruise, nor even acknowledge our ...

We chose this cruise because we enjoyed our experience 6 years ago when we sailed on it from Florida. We've been on 5 RCI cruises and like the vibe for families. The issues started prior to boarding: 1. Children's in terminal COVID tests took almost 1 hour. Rapid test results typically take at most 15 minutes but they made us wait 1 hour. Our son has autism, and and this was conveyed to the ...
