Leaving Bayonne was a breeze since we live in NJ. We pulled into the parking lot (got dropped off) & was on the ship within 20 minutes. Very organized~

We spent two nights in NYC prior to the cruise, but did so independently. Embarkation and disembarkation were both very smooth and well organized. Minimal waiting time.

Nothing there other than embarking/disembarking. We parked in the garage next to the port which was convenient. The garage should have been bigger to accommodate more cars.

too much traffic at this port, waited 40mins just to get off the taxi whilst already being in the terminal area.

Since I was only driving to Bayonne, I didn't actually do an excursion and can only say the port is easy to get to by car and the parking garage is extremely convenient.

Not much to see at Cape Liberty, aside from the 9/11 Teardrop Memorial (a gift from Russia). If you are on the port (left, facing forward) side of the ship, you can see the Statue of Liberty in the distance
