Left and returned from New Orleans. Really need more time there. The cruise added an included tour. The World War II museum. Definitely a must see place. Downside, we only had two hours there. Not enough time. Some on tour opted to get back to the ship on their own and were able to stay at the museum longer. The other included tour was Oak Alley plantation. We were told this was nice. Unfortunately could not do both. Read Less

First time in New Orleans and we had a great time, even in the rain. Bourbon street was amazing and I am glad I was able to experience Mardi Gras at least once in my life, checked it off my bucket list.

We arrived back in New Orleans about a half day early. They offered the tour to Oak Alley and also a walking tour by Mike of the French Quarter and the WWII museum.

Port was convenient and we actually walked from our Downtown/French Quarter Hotel to the ship. The city is a lovely place to visit, and we always enjoy the food.

Flew in two days early. Stayed at the French Market Inn. Would totally stay there again. It was a beautiful hotel that was close to everything and still managed to be quite despite all the craziness surrounding it. We primarily stayed in the French Quarter, but we did take a Lyft to the WWII museum. We only had a couple of hours to spend there, but you could honestly stay all day and probably not see it all. I love New Orleans. It was wonderful as usual. Great food in New Orleans we love the Redfish Grill and we also enjoyed Ruby Slipper for breakfast and Compere Lapin for another dinner.

We parked at the port after dropping off bags with porter. The parking lot is secured 24 hrs a day and was $20 per day which included any taxes. Parking was easy and there was a shuttle that took us to the terminal side of the lot but not to terminal. From the drop off point it was about 100 yards or less to the terminal entrance but you do cross railroad tracks so a little difficult if taking roller bags or use a rollator. Look for a porter when returning to take your bags from terminal to your car we took ours without a porter but not easy getting across the RR tracks. Read Less
