First the good
1) the staff on the breakaway were GREAT. They were helpfull and attentive. Kudos to them. A couple of them went beyond (asst. General manager, F&B director, concierge (see below).

Of our 34 cruises this cruise ranks the worst. Even worse than a cruise we got norovirus on (also NCL). We usually love our NCL cruises but this one was BAD. The worst thing was the bar service, every bar was short staffed and therefore slammed. In many bars the runners or waiters were making drinks and most had no clue what the heck they were doing. The staff recently had layoffs and pay cuts. This is felt throughout the ship. Our room attendant was so nice but his rooms went from 15 to 22 and this was the consensus across the ship. Our waiters were grumpy and frustrated that they weren't receiving tips. We felt bad and wound up not having our room serviced.

We slept one day in the cabin then right before we went to bed the second night my boyfriend saw a bug on his pillow. He grabbed it. We put it under a cup and called customer service. We chose NCL over some others mainly for the Entertainment. Big mistake! Please do not cruise with NCL. They will treat you with no courtesy.
