The port in New Orleans obviously wasn't built to accommodate cruise ships, it was an after thought. While logistics & traffic jams getting to the port cannot be helped, once there it is a complete cluster. Unclear instructions, baggage handlers dropping luggage on the RR tracks, hours long embarkation lines which were very warm and not enough air circulating. One of my aunts nearly passed out from heat and exhaustion stating in the line. Many older persons & out of shape persons cruise, and this is NOT the port for either. Read Less

We spent 4 days in New Orleans following the cruise. Lot of things to see and do! And the food is amazing. We found that using Lyft or Uber was the easiest way to get around. The parking is very expensive and difficult to find.

New Orleans is a great place to visit with a very good Port and the World War ll Museum is a must see. Also highly recommend McClure's BBQ 3001 Tchoupitoulas St. Inside the Nola Brewing Tap Room.

The port was okay. Honestly, there really nothing to say about it. The workers are very nice ad patient. My sister forgot our camera in one of the buses and it was nice for them to come back and give it to us.

The porters were a little aggressive but sufficient. The city is worth a visit. We had been before so we only went to Mardi Gras World this time. It was also worth seeing. Read Less
