I've been on Norwegian before and thought the re positioning cruise out of New Orleans looked good. Price was right, but I was wrong. From the beginning, this ship and crew were below par. Many issues with uncaring or even rude staff, not having rooms cleaned, doors off their hinges in the bathroom, toenail clippings on the bathroom floor, mediocre food at best, prebooking excurions where tickets did not show up (causing us to wait in long lines TWICE to get the tickets), constantly being 'nickel and dimed' to death. ...

This was my second time on this ship, my husband's first. The Dream is very clean and there are many free food options. Guy's burgers located by the main pool has the best burgers of any ship or cruise line. Guy's was just added to this ship in February. Embarkation and debarkation went smoothly. Ya- not so good. Bed was very hard, very uncomfortable. Music way too loud around the pool. Very smoky . Way too many smokers onboard. And no control of where they smoked. This cruise should come with a skull and cross bones warning! Being on this cruise made my wife and I feel like we were trapped on the high seas with everyone over 65. I have been on over 30 cruises. I have been on NCL at least 5 times. I was shocked by all the charges. The beverage package is not free like they say. You will pay over $100.00 in service fees for a 7 day cruise. If you receive free dining you will pay additional gratuities for that.
