Took taxi to Botical Gardens, which are large and with the main house offering a true Thai dining experience. Had lunch on open veranda of the house and the view is very nice. Beach is not really that great.

did an all day sailing which included snorkeling, lunch and impromptu onboard dancing & music. Food was great, drinks were plentiful (a little too much so for some guests who got rather tipsy) and the staff was super accomodating

The tour was nice, not great and we did not go to one of the main places we thought we were going because the owner of the plantation did not want us there that day. Our driver said nothing about it until someone asked if we were going there and then he told us no. We took the ferry over to Nevis form St. Kitts where our ship had docked for the day. We spent the rest of the time in a van. We went to a beach restaurant called "lime" that had unimpressive food, rum punch, and then off to the lovely beach which actually was the best part of the day. I would not do this tour again. Instead I would take the ferry to the beach and skip the "tour" of the island/plantation. Read Less

A few blocks from the cruise terminal is the ferry to Nevis. I think the fare was $10 each. There are two ferry companies which operate...I recommend M/M because they use larger boats. Be sure to buy a departure ticket when leaving Nevis for $1 in addition to your ticket. We weren't allowed on the boat until we went back to the ticket office to buy a departure voucher. The cost of the voucher was included in the price we paid for the ticket when leaving St. Kitts. The water is incredibly clear on Nevis but due to the ships departure time, we didn't get a chance to visit the beach although it is possible if you are a risk taker. Nevis itself isn't worth going to unless you are staying at a resort. Read Less

We went into the rainforest for a hike. I would recommend this only because it is so unexpected and the guide, Lyn, is a complete nut case who is good for a laugh. They don't recommend it for kids but our 7 year old went and led the pack. Not strenuous at all. Not really exercise either as Lyn stops the trek to talk every 30 seconds.   Read Less
