Nassau was very disappointing. Dirty city, locals screaming at you for tours, old sad looking horses. We finally took a cab to Atlantis and walked around indoors near the aquarium from some huge hotel to the other. Lots of shops. There are some interesting museums and shops to visit in Nassau. All we did was wonder, visit museums and the Anglican Cathedral, and find an Ice Cream Shop. Wonderful! ...

We have been to Nassau many times. My husband likes the brewery that is near the port. Visit the "conch man". He has a very run down boat that is parked next to the pier. He will make you a fresh conch salad on the bow of his boat....so good..the best we have ever had in the Bahamas. Don't go by the looks of the boat or the conch man!!! It is so good. The original Nassau stop had an excursion planned, but the first itinerary change shortened the stop to 4 hours, and it was cancelled. The second set of itinerary changes last minute created a full day stop again, but our excursion wasn't available at this point. We ended up walking around the city, which we've visited before, and don't have much to say about it. ...

Had a great time in Nassau. Did not do an excursion. We went ashore and walked around the town. Bought some knock off handbags, went to the Pirate Museum and walked up the hill to Watling Distillery. .Highly recommend going to both places. Found a great little craft brewery right in town and sampled some great beer, and the conch fritters were awesome! ...
