My husband booked cruise on Costa Victoria mainly for destination Indian Ocean I was a dubious after some of the reviews. We arrived at Mumbai Port at 11am and were allowed to board straight away. Embarkation was fast and straightforward and we headed to buffet while waiting for our cabin which was ready by 2pm. The cabin was a good size and clean. Our cabin steward always had a smile and ...

We chose this cruise because of the destinations on the itinerary & because some tours were included. We had travelled on Viking before...a river cruise. Some of the shore excursions were terrible...long bus rides...no time to see half of the sites. & some bad tour guides. Exception Bangkok which had a great company handling the tours. The embarkation in Mumbai was the worst we have ...

We chose this cruise due to the itinerary. Unfortunately, this cruise lasted only 4 days for us. My wife and I left the cruise in Sri Lanka on day 4 since she had to go to the hospital due to a serious infection to her left leg from a laceration that happened in Delhi. The Viking ship and facilities were outstanding. The medical staff tried to due all they could to stem the infection - it ...

We had an insurance conference. Sailed out of Mumbai till Cochin for 3 nights. From the welcome till departure everything was seamless. Thomas Cook employees were also coordinating with the Italian staff. We also had a lot of Indian staff to manage 300 of us. The main meal was a buffet in Al Fresco and we had a choice with Tivoli where we had a sit down dinner to be booked a day in advance. ...

There is no point in just being critical and having recently sailed on the Silver Cloud I have to say the following. We have cruised with Silversea many times before and even though we were not fortunate enough to be around during their heyday, we could still feel the enormous difference from our first trip which happened to be on the Silver Cloud in the year 2000. We knew when we boarded the ...

This cruise combined a 5-day land tour of India's Golden Triangle -- Delhi, Agra (Taj Mahal) and Jaipur-- with sea voyages from Mumbai to Oman (Muscat and Salaleh) and Jordan (Aqaba, Petra, Amman). Fascinating itinerary, high-quality land tours, comfortable small ship, lovely crew and staff, and interesting fellow passengers -- mostly Australian, British and Canadian. Many aboard were university ...

We booked this cruise from Mumbai to Athens as a complete package, which included a pre-cruise land tour of the “Golden Triangle” of India - with visits to New Delhi to Agra (for the Red Fort and the Taj Mahal) and Jaipur. More than 120 passengers from the United Kingdom and Australia chose this tour - and we travelled in five, air-conditioned coaches. There was so much to see, so this review is ...

We picked the ship up in Mumbai, as part of the Grand Asia Adventure, to sail back to Southampton for 23 nights stopping off at various ports along the way. Firstly getting on the ship in Mumbai - is an experience in itself. Be prepared if you are thinking about doing this. For us on a private tour of India through Audley Travel, we sailed through the luggage inspection and cleared all port ...

The Voyager is a well appointed ship and well maintained by an excellent mostly Filipino Crew who are always friendly and helpful. The restauants serve excellent food although dinner in the Discovery Restauant can take a very long time. The Veranda Restaurant is a buffet and the same choice of food is available and again the staff are helpful but there are problems with the layout. At breakfast, ...
