Nice city, easily walkable from the port if you're mobile. Felt pretty safe, although watch your step as people did not clean up after their dogs, unfortunately. This town didn't feel as safe as Punta Del Este. You can just wander through the old town as it is really easy to get around. Free Wifi throughout the town. I wouldn't waste time on an excursion here as there wasn't much interesting stuff to see. ...

Loved the Old Town. It was Sunday, so we couldn't connect with our desired vintage coffee shop, so had to settle for Starbucks, but the architecture and sights were wonderful, and we enjoyed browsing the vendor stalls in the square. ...
