Many hotels were booked and those available had much higher prices than the norm due to Spring Break and Ultra Music Festival at Bayside Park. We ended up at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Miami Airport South. Clean and comfortable with good complementary breakfast. Ate at Pollo Campero one day - good chicken and sides. Last restaurant before flying home was La Rosa Fine Cuban Cuisine which was ...

Boarding and disembarking the ship was easy. We disembarked using express checkout as we carries our own bags out. The Miami port is easy to use - make sure you know what terminal your ship is using and follow the signs and the directions painted on the road in the port. ...

We did a South Beach excursion day, offered through Carnival. Bit overpriced, and you can certainly Uber it from the port to the SoBe area, but with traffic being what it is, it's nice to know the ship won't leave without you. The color commentary from the tour bus lady was not great, but we were able to get off the bus and explore the area for a couple of hours and enjoy the architecture, some ...

Spent the night before in Miami - loved it- but it was extremely expensive! We had dinner at American Social and it was AMAZING, but very expensive- then hit up some of the clubs around the area including Rosa Sky, The Dirty Rabbit, Pilos Tequila Garden, and Brick. We partied a bit hard the night before. FYI- hotels in Miami right next to port were very expensive as well, we found one for $300 ...

On boarding and departure were made effortless by the Virgin Voyages staff at PortMiami. They were very professional and quick. Customs was quick as well. It only took us about 30 minutes to get on the boat and probably about 10 minutes to depart when we returned back to port 6 days later. It was overall, a very good experience. Luggage was in room shortly after we got to our cabin. Only comment ...
