Second cruise with carnival, embarkation easy, 90 mins from miami hilton Airport Hotel to sitting in the pig and anchor having our first margarita and bbq..
We had a window cabin on the first floor, was nervous as was right by the stairs and lift but we didn't hear any noises at all
Entertainment was a bit hit and miss, the karaoke was deafening in noise and tone... the carnival rockband ...
I truly did enjoy my time on virgin. I actually told my family I probably won’t go back to another cruise line for a while. I spoke with a lot of people while on the ship and of course everyone compared Virgin to Carnival and there were some mixed reviews.
Pros - Hands down my favorite thing about the entire ship is the staterooms. I had a balcony. I absolutely loved it. I love the choices for ...
My wife and I had a wonderful time on the Scarlet Lady on June 9th. We were impressed by the exceptional crew who made our experience truly unforgettable. The only downside I can think of was the long wait for food to be served from the various food spots in the Galley. There is no traditional buffet on the ship but servers take your order and serve you as many times as you want. The kitchen just ...
My family chose this cruise because of the private island and water park ( Atlantis). I’m a first time cruiser and this was an amazing experience! The staff was entertaining and polite, and there was so much variety in the food! The stateroom was a little tight but overall comfortable with a gorgeous view. The buffet food was good for breakfast but I wouldn’t recommend going for dinner because ...
My wife and I were first time cruisers on this sailing. This sailing went to Nassau and Perfect day Coco Cay. We both really enjoyed this cruise on Freedom of the Seas. We did not really know what to expect. But we both cannot wait to go on another Royal Caribbean cruise!
Embarkation day was very easy & smooth and it only took 15-20 minutes to get on the ship. Our bags were already at our cabin ...
My brother and sister both went on this cruise and highly recommended it. Also I liked the adult only feature. The cruise was really very nice. They kept the ship clean. They were always cleaning which was very nice. There were lots of activities available at all times. The food was awesome.
The worst part was the stop in Mexico. The shops were harassing us the entire time. It was awful and ...
VV ruined all other ships for us. Beautiful decor, upscale dining, large room, premium alcohol is standard & NO KIDS. I loved how inclusive of all sizes, colors, sexualities & talent of the staff. VV is also very accommodating for disabilities. From the wheelchair accessible bathrooms, seating, ramps, to having multiple ASL Interpreters at all shows & events are just a few things that we noticed. ...
Sailed June 4 – 11, 2023
Aurea Experience with 3 side-by-side cabins on Deck 15
Adults had the Easy Plus Drink Package, Kids had the Minor’s Drink Package
Anytime Dining (in Skyline Restaurant)
I want to begin by saying this is a review of comparison (to other cruise lines and ships) only. I will share things I like and dislike, but I am not trying to discourage anyone from trying out ...
Pros: no kids which means less crowded, limited activities which means less pressure to get dressed and hang out every night (also a con). Ordering food and fresh towels from your phone is amazing!
Cons: the food is not amazing and the selection is limited. Limited options for pascatrain folks. We received a bottle of champagne with our package that we didn't get to drink so we decided we'd ...
Virgin really knocked it out of the park with this cruise line! We loved every moment of being on this vessel. First and foremost, the service and crew were superb. The crew is genuinely happy and are given flexibility and freedom not seen at other cruise lines, which really shines through in their work life. They love having genuine chats with guests and are not incentivized to sell you anything, ...
