Caribbean cruise to San Juan, St. Thomas and Tortola with NCL. Overall okay but not worth the money. The pool was either closed or half full of water. When open, the water was ice cold. We have travelled Norwegian a few times and it has always been good - very underwhelmed by new boat expected more. We had booked a back to back and we were a little disappointed that we had. I will start with a positive. The Ship was clean and pretty and getting on an off the boat could not have been easier. The staff did their job but weren't overly friendly. I traveled with my wife and adult children. I watched a lot of reviews but somehow missed that the encore shows and dining reservations fill up the first few hours. Cabin attendant Baal was excellent. He could not have done anything more to make our cruise experience better.

After breakfast in the dining room the food was unacceptable. The buffet was exactly the same choices every day. They virtually had no pastry chef. Maybe three desserts at the buffet any given day. Poor experiences started with flight times that were booked. Flights were red eyes leaving us at the airport for hours on arrival and departure. Due do bad times I changed return transportation vouchers and rented a car I was only refunded 50% for the vouchers. Apparently, it was my fault the times were horrible. The MSC Seaside is an average cruise. Not horrible, not amazing. I’ll resume my experience in pros and cons:
Pros:
- It has toboganes de agua, they are very fun and free.
- The buffet food is good, although is not very variada.
- The Ocean Cay MSC Bahamas has an included buffet on the island.
- Most rooms are spacious and comfortable.
- Most of the staff is friendly.

I should start off by saying that I've been on most of the major American cruise chains out there that sail out of Miami (Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Celebrity) on multiple sailings but this is my first experience with MSC, and it was a total disappointment compared to the other lines.
