: Miami as always is excellent. The short distance from airport ($27 flat fee for cabs) is decent and there are decent hotel options for the night before. We arrived at our designated arrival time of 9:30am and were ushered into a line at security. We were allowed to move into the terminal at 10am. Embarking in Miami was a bit of a hassle as we got there early due to an early flight and the doors to the building to start the embarkation process has not opened yet. Mayhem. When we got off the shuttle at the miami port the guy who works for the ship literally asked us for money. We literally hardly had time to stand on our two feet and look around before he grabbed our suitcase and asked for tip!!! Which irritated me beyond words! IF I WANT TO TIP I WILL TIP YOU.
