City is brilliant, best city I've been to in Australia. The experience at the port was terrible. The city obviously doesn't want cruise ships and signals this by the terrible infrastructure. No WiFi at all in port. No wonder cruise lines are moving to Sydney. The City itself though is the most vibrant buzzing place we've been to for ages ...

Because our ship missed Hobart, we ended up with extra time in Melbourne as the ship overnighted here. And that was great because Melbourne is a big city with a fair bit to do. Once again we had to take a shuttle into town, it dropped us off by the Sky Tower which we did on the first afternoon. The views were great. The Viking included Melbourne Highlights tour was mediocre. One stop of about 45-60 minutes at the botanical gardens. It was extremely hot and humid that day so Viking had rented an ice cream truck to give out free ice cream to guests; I’m not not sure if they do that 100% of the time or not. Then another stop of about 45 minutes at the Shrine of Remembrance, which is a war memorial with a nice ...
