Went to the local beach, it was really lovely, white sands and warm water, I am sure it was on this island that there were little fish in the ocean swimming around you.

This island was added to our tour at the last minute due to the hurricane so we did not book an excursion. Once off the boat, the walk to catch the ferry to the beaches was far and it was hot! There was a big line to catch the ferry that we did not wait in because of the heat. Had a great pizza and went back to the boat. Read Less

You could not get off at the pier and walk around. They loaded us onto shuttle buses and took us to the other pier. The ride was short though and the buses were running non stop.

Another Beach day. We took the water taxi to the beach. Reasonable rates neat to see another side of the island.

We were a little disappointed with this island. Super crowded beach, BUT luckily we accidentally found another one and ended up enjoying ourselves.

Not much to see and do downtown. future stops will either mean an excursion or a day on the ship.

Stayed in town and went shopping. Good selection of quality goods as opposed to some other ports. Nice bar on an upstairs balcony on top of a pharmacy.

I felt like I was in a city and not in a Caribbean port. Nobody approached me all day to sell me anything, which I appreciated, but at the same time, I found it weird. It is a huge city and I did not find a lot to do there since it was so spread out. Cabs are very expensive in Martinique. I took the public bus to Balata Gardens (1.5 Euros but the bus driver ripped me off and charged me double claiming he knew no English). Balata is not cheap to enter, but I am glad I went. The gardens are beautiful and interesting if you enjoy that type of thing. Read Less

Nice french village, had to walk quite a long from the ship, felt safe although ship was warning people and some stayed because of that on board, absolutely worth visiting

We booked through another agency as the cruise line offered the southern tour and we wanted to see the northern side of the island. The tour included many stops and a good overview. My husband enjoyed the rum distillery
