Tui Get It Right

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Marella Discovery 2

UK local airports available, we flew from Bristol. Good flight times. Transfer to ship smooth, embarkation process friendly, informative and quick. The cabins, we had an inside on deck 6, were nicely refurbished with enough space for what a cabin is intended for. Although all inclusive we decided to upgrade to the premium drinks package purely for the cocktails although the standard package ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Marella Discovery 2

I've been on all the present fleet apart from Discovery 1 which is of course the sister ship of Discovery 2, the ship is easy to get around with plenty of lifts all quite spacious. Travelling on my own for the first time as a senior widowed male I found everyone quite friendly and although I never ventured into the main restaurants I found the Island Restaurant quite acceptable for my needs and ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Marella Discovery 2

Thomsons have embarkation so finely organised, there us just no hassle, my only problem was I require wheelchair assistance and on arrival at Malaga I was left waiting for over an hour for a wheelchair and only got one by a fluke! Our friends did not know where I was and got quite stressed with worry. I appreciate this is beyond Thomsons control but I think they should be aware of this problem. ...

Spanish Sunsets Cruise : Date of Cruising: 28 May to 4 June 2017 Having cruised previously with Princess, Royal Caribbean and P&O on their larger ships holding 3,500 passengers, we were a little nervous about booking a western Mediterranean cruise with Thompson (now rebranded TUI), on their newly refurbished flagship ‘Discovery 2’. The TUI ship is a lot smaller carrying just 1900 passengers. ...

This is the 4th TUI (Thomson) ship we have been on we originally booked the Celebration but we got transfered to the 1st sailing of discovery2. From arriving at the ship everything went smoothly. The cabin we chose was a deluxe outside with a full length window it had been completely refitted new bedding and also very good storage. We dined for breakfast and dinner in the waiter service restaurant ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas

The ship was super clean, the crew were very friendly and the food was great. My husband wanted to go on a Transatlantic since he previously worked on a cruise ship. We went with 2 other couples. Weather was warm and calm. Overall a great first cruise! The camel ride and tour of the Volcanic National Park on Lanzarote was a definite highlight of the shore excursions. We stopped at 3 ...

We knew this was an older ship, but the price was right and the ports of call were interesting. Also, we've been on the mega ships and are a bit tired of the floating malls. We were looking forward to enjoy the real cruise feeling of the smaller ships again. We were not disappointed. The ship was in great shape. A little wear and tear in places, but everything works. The cabin we had was very ...

A first rate experience all around on Sea Cloud II. Everything ran so smoothly. Super comfortable cabins and amenities. Gracious and skilled crew. There is nothing as exhilarating as seeing the crew set the sails! Friendly, bi-lingual staff members who cater to your every comfort. Tom Hook, the cruise director, is such a professional. Always efficient without seeming to break into a ...

Great Mediterranean Cruise on Le Lyrial

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Le Lyrial (Ponant)

The cruise was booked by a travel agent for a group of about 125. The travel agent handled all excursions and several cultural and historical presentations during the cruise so I can't comment on how the ship would have handled them. I can comment about the ship, the cabin, dining and other activities on the ship. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by ships crew and escorted to our room ...

Incomparable Service

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on SeaDream I

User Avatar

SeaDream cruises are incomparable if service is concerned. You are really pampered with such a crew to passenger ratio, so that everyone is recognized and addressed by name once embarked. Unlike other ship's smiling faces aimed for a tip, on SeaDream every gestures are from the heart and every effort is made to make you happy. The dinner is also among the best if not the outright best, with best ...
