We docked at Malaga and readied for another walking tour with Pancho Tours. There was quite a crowd gathered in the Constitution Square. Our guide was Javier. He was excellent ! The Cathedral, the Gibralfaro Castle (Moorish), and the Roman amphitheater were amazing. Javier bought and introduced us to the sautéd and salted almonds. He also us to a restaurant and winery for sample of the sweet wine of the region. These efforts and his deep knowledge, shared, earned him 25 euros at the end of the tour. Nice walk back though a plaza and a park along the busy boulevard to a shuttle through the port. We stopped at tourist center to tell them how clean the city is. Very nice reception mall at the port. Not crowded as a German cruise ship had their own reception next to ours. Read Less

Took a roadtrain city tour on our own. Malaga might be fun in the summer, but on a cool day with empty beaches, it isn't.

Paid €5 for the shuttle and the price went on a big red one top bus. That was great value and took us around a beautiful and fantastic city. We loved it and can't wait to return. So much charm, more history than I expected, and amazing views from the castle over the sea. We enjoyed an authentic paella for lunch in many of the restaurants down the narrow, cobbled lanes and were sad to have to leave to head back. Really surprised with how much we enjoyed Malaga Read Less

Again you can walk into Malaga or get the shuttle bus. We walked the length of the beach and back but there is plenty to do in the town itself.
