Did a tour of the Alcazaba fortress/palace with Malaga Adventures. Only 10 euros and the guide provided historical context which i wouldn't have know otherwise. Easy to walk around the town, visit some churches, eat in an outdoor cafe and people watch. ...

Easy to walk to. Not a good tour, for panoramic- as they have you get off bus. Not even a glimpse of Picasso museum! ...

We did the Cooking Paella in Malaga tour. A fun day in a small group learing to cook Paella. We did all the work cooking a 3 course meal and then sat down to a wonderful lunch with the fruit of our labors with some fine local wines. ...

Malaga was a change in itinerary. Since we had previously been to Granada, and did not want the long bus ride there, we opted for the tour to the Picasso Museum, which included a walk through the city streets, before a short drive back to the cruise ship. The city was vibrant and decorated for the holidays. Also, high-end shopping if you want it! ...

Very much enjoyed Funchal. Booked a private jeep tour to be covid safe, used Viator - booked conservatively to be sure we were back on time. 4 hour tour, dropped us off at the top of the cable car. Then rode it doen and had some time for shopping and walk back to ship. That took the whole 8 hour port day, so if you want enough time for a 4 hour tour plus the botanical gardens (*an actual visit), ...

We just cabbed over from the port to old town and enjoyed several hours strolling the marble streets, visiting the amazing cathedral and enjoying the people and architecture. So glad we got off the ship and explored the city. ...

Worst excursion of the cruise. Malaga's an interesting town, but this guide was awful. I think he was a last-minute fill-in. He had a bad cold, so we heard every cough, sneeze, and snork in our earpieces. He really wasn't that informative, seemed to be going through the motions. ...
