We have just disembarked from our first P and O cruise on the Iona. Our trip visited Madeira, Canary Islands, Lisbon and Mainland Spain.
We loved sailing out of Southampton and the process of embarkation and disembarkation was seamless. We could not fault it. It is the way forward for future holidays. We have only cruised previously with NCL and found ourselves comparing. Each has their ...
I like MSC Cruises and I'm not a part or full time snob.
I pay a fantastic price and feel you get more for what you paid to be fair.
The ship is clean although slob passengers seem hell bent on wrecking the ship, mass stains on furniture etc, MSC do a great job keeping it clean and very presentable.
We have been treated to excellent shows every single night, well last night was a bit ...
My wife and I have been on 25 Cunard cruises and just three on other lines, one on the P&O Iona with the family, so were interested to compare Arcadia with Queen Victoria and Elizabeth. In summary, the ships and their feel are similar, the major differences being the upper decks being accessible on Arcadia but limited to "Grills" class guests on Cunard, so this gives more venues and open deck ...
My husband and I chose this cruise as the price was good and included an upgrade to a mini suite balcony. We prefer holidaying at off peak times to avoid extreme heat! We previously sailed on the Sky in April 2022, just as the world was returning to normal after covid, and had a very nice time visiting the Fjords. It is still a beautiful ship and it was great to be back on board. Last cruise we ...

We generally sail the Caribbean and wanted to visit another region. We arrived at South Hampton the morning of sailing with a short 1.5 hour drive to port with plenty of time to spare (8PM sailing). The embarkation in a wheel chair was a bit cumbersome, never the less ok.
We didn't partake in any of the outdoor amenities due to weather, cold and drizzling. The live entertainment was very good ...
As always I start my reviews with - this is my viewpoint on my holiday, others will no doubt have had a completely different experience and disagree with what follows.
Sadly Arvia does not have the wow factor for me.
In my opinion the focal point of any cruise ship is the central Atrium - Arvia's is very ordinary and plain - granted it's very spacious with a flowing staircase but simply ...
This was our sixth transatlantic cruise, the second on the Getaway and our eighth overall on an NCL vessel. Our cruise and the Getaway were par-for-the-course meeting expectations. No surprises or unexpected disappointments...It's one of the big ships with all the competitive bells & whistles. The staterooms & bathrooms are clean, somewhat spacious, comfortable and practical. A shortage of ubs ...
We were on the Silhouette for our first transatlantic cruise. Was wonderful! The ship is beautiful, food in Blu and the buffet was consistently great, and staff were very friendly. After 11 nights, we still felt the food variety was excellent.
Our stateroom attendant was the best! Gym is perfect and has everything you need.
I was surprised to read some of the other reviews because our ...
