Alla Tours, an independent tour company based in St Petersberg were absolutely magnificent in every detail. Their guides were knowledgeable, responding to individual needs and requirements. Their tours were much cheaper than those offered by P & O and they included extras such as drinking water and lunch. Alla was professional and attentive in every detail and I would recommend them for any future tour of St Petersberg. Read Less

Unfortunately the weather in Southampton was cold and rainy when we were there. We stayed at Premier Inn West Quay-a good location and a terrible hotel.

No tour taken. We came into the train station and picked up a taxi to the terminal. 6 pounds. At disembarkation we had the taxi driver drive us back to Winchester instead of to the train station. 30 pounds.

We arrived in Southampton early so that we could visit the Sea City Museum before setting sail on our Baltic Cruise. This museum tells the story of ocean liners from the early days to modern day ships. The exhibition has ship models, posters, photographs and ephemera from the great liners such as menu cards and souvenirs. You will see furniture and other items from some of the famous ships that called Southampton home such as the Mauretania, Queen Mary and QE2. You will learn about the people who traveled and worked on these ships. We were a little disappointed in the Titanic Exhibition, we were expecting more. Read Less

Terminal is nice, and within walking distance to several hotels, plus a nice mall and shopping area. We also walked to the Hertz rental car office after disembarking at the end of the cruise.

Flew to Southampton where the coach was waiting for us and took us quickly to the ship where we boarded easily and without a problem.
