we actually departed from Tower Bridge London , quiet and interesting experience .. Embarkation is difficult , the loading of your bags re dangerous and thought out bags may be lost in the Thames... Lot's of stairs to cross via the HMS Belfast .. an early departure and a noisy ride up the River didn't really to the trip justice ... Yes I know its tides and times but expectations need to be set ... ...

We did an "On your own" Princess Excursion because we wanted to guarantee getting back to the ship on time since London is 2.5 hours from the port of Dover where our ship was docked. That 2:00 was our only set time, so we ...

We had perfect weather in London.  85 F and sunny which if you haven't lived here is truly rare early in June.  The passage up the Thames to Greenwich was a highlight of the cruise.  We had informed commentary from a local river guide which really helped me imagine how sailing up this river must have been for mariners the last 1000+ years. The only downside to having 18 hours in London, is you only ...
