The short story is we had a great cruise. We've sailed with Azamara one other time and this is about our 35th cruise overall. We've done small all the way up to mega-sized ships. This was our first time on Azamara. Friends of ours who went with us on this cruise, had sailed with them before and they spoke very highly of the line. This cruise was chosen to celebrate my 50th birthday because my travel companion did the Spring 2022 crossing from Miami to Lisbon and loved it.

We took this cruise for two reasons, we needed to spend cruise credits that Regent would not extend beyond 12/31 and there was a post-cruise safari at the end. We were not disappointed. In fact, for my husband, it was the trip of a lifetime.

We chose this cruise because of interest in Portugal.
From our arrival in Lisbon to our departure from the ship in Porto, Viking handled everything perfectly. Transfers were on time, Patricia ( our cruise director) was on top of everything.
