Originally, the port was Port Said, but it was canceled a few days before embankment.
Limassol was chosen by the cruise line as replacement.

Since Israel was soon, we were planning on having a slow day, just grabbing the bus into town for some shopping. At the bus stop, we were invited by a private tour guide to join his group, for a 4-hour ride up the coast. We docked at Limassol on the south coast and rented a car again. We drove up to a quaint village in the mountains that's noted for its handmade lace. I'm not sure how much was handmade but it was an interesting time. We hired a car to collect at the port so as to be able to do as we pleased and collected this as arranged from the cruise terminal.

The city center was a good way away from the port. Do NOT attempt to walk. The ship offered a shuttle service for 8 Euro a person. Good investment. More shopping here and nice cafe's to get authentic food. ...
