An AMAZING ship and experiences that will only continue to improve

Review for a South America Cruise on Scenic Eclipse

DISCLAIMER: This review will be VERY LENGTHY as there is a significant amount of information to convey. I have utilized topic headers so you can pick and choose which topics are of interest to you and skip the others. The Eclipse is a unique ship and not inexpensive to book, so it is important to understand what to expect. Furthermore, my wife and I are in no way connected to Scenic. ...

Great itinerary, great time

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Marina

We enjoyed this cruise very much. We have been on Oceania before, and chose this cruise for the itinerary of Lima to NYC. It was the middle leg of getting the ship from Tahiti, where it had spent the winter, to Europe, where it will spend the summer. We love O for the food, and the food was quite good. The new Dom Perignon events were great (separate charge, but great value for the money). ...

Sirena in March

Review for a South America Cruise on Sirena

We chose this cruise because Oceania has smaller ships and their food is excellent. This was a South America cruise going from Lima Peru to Buenos Aires Argentina. Being the month of March in the Southern Hemisphere, we expected and received September type temperatures like the Northern Hemisphere. Sirena is very well kept still clean and attractive though it will be renovated soon. I like ...

Wonderful 21 days cruising the coast of Peru and Chile

Review for a South America Cruise on Azamara Pursuit

I had told my husband that my bucket list was to see Machu Picchu and had been since high school. So we booked on the Pursuit. We had heard there were problems with food etc but to us it’s just something that will happen because it’s a new ship with new staff learning the ropes with seasoned staff from some of the other ships. We never went on this cruise with high expectations because of the ...

Luxury on the High Seas

Review for a South America Cruise on Silver Muse

We had a previous experience on SilverSea which was delightful and we wanted to try them again. SS did not disappoint us as the dining, entertainment, staff were all first rate. The shipboard services are excellent from butler to laundry availability. The shore excursions on this trip were somewhat limited by the ports of call (only 2 ports). The ones we were chose were very good except the ...

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Insignia

WE love Oceania Cruise Line. We didn't specifically choose Insignia, we choose the itinerary. That being said, being on Insignia was an added bonus. This was our third adventure on Insignia. From Captain Flokus to crew members, the vessel is small yet large and very personal. The food was excellent. Booked on Marina this October. Cusomter Service, specifically, William Park, is extraordinary! The ...

Review for a South America Cruise on Riviera

I wanted just to get away and see something that I hadn't seen before. We did a pre-cruise to Machu Picchu and it was awesome! On board the ship was small and intimate. There was a variety of dining areas that were included in the price, Italian, Chinese etc. The Red Ginger (Chinese ) was the best. Had a lovely coffee bar. We had been up graded to a penthouse suite which was great except came ...

Exceeded Expectations!

Review for a South America Cruise on Aria Amazon

User Avatar

If the Queen of England booked a cruise on the Amazon, it would be on this boat. Not that our trip was without glitches - the transfer from Iquitos Airport to the boat was tiring (while waiting for the boat to be prepared, we had a disorganized lunch and city tour), also our shower leaked a bit, and the engine noise at night was quite loud in Cabin 202. But the bed was huge, the linens fine, and ...

Review for a South America Cruise on Regatta

We recently traveled to South America on Oceania's Regatta. This is the 4th time we have been on this ship and will travel again on it. We had a P2 and loved the space and the balcony. The couch was a bit bigger for us and we do stay in our room to watch the scenery go by. We had a great Butler Rahman. We didn't ask for anything so he just started bringing us little canapes and they really hit the ...

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Marina

My wife and I sailed with the 1200 passenger Oceania Marina on their 16 day cruise from Lima, Peru to New York. We have typically traveled on smaller ships, including Sea Dream, Silversea and Seabourn, and I have to admit to having reservations about the ability of the ship to meet the service and food standards of ships half their size or less - especially since Oceania originally had only ...
