We spent time on the beach and then had a great BBQ lunch. We tried to do a bit of souvenir shopping but this was ruined by very aggressive vendors that tried to con our 15-year-old into buying their products. He was quite shaken up by that episode. Royal Caribbean owns that island and should not allow or promote those vendors. They ruined a lovely day. Read Less

Floating/swimming area was small and there were people kayaking into the area over the ropes. No waiters taking drink orders from beach chairs. Good view of ship. BBQ was average.

Beautiful beaches and island. Nothing is complementary on this island. Also the service went to five star on the ship too three star on the island. I really would not got back to this port unless it’s in the next itinerary.

Beach chairs, crowds and BBQ. Not exactly a private, natural experience. Day off the ship was the best part.

RC should have a donation bin for cruisers to donate to the locals. Also, the stray dogs, which were NO bother, would not even eat the meat from the burgers. What in the world is in those burgers. That was a bit concerning. ZERO out of 7 stray dogs would eat the burger meat but loved everything else. My stomach churned because I already ate a burger! Never again. Read Less

Too many places where it was unsafe to swim. Signs should be posted so that you don't waste time dragging your chair to a safe place to swim. BBQ lunch was fantastic!

Nice beach day, but everything now costs extra. All of our kids broke out with rashes after this day. I think it was something in the sand. Thank the Good Lord for Benadryl !!!

Labadee itself is a lovely spot and we had great weather, but the activities are all fee based and seemed over-priced, so didn't do these. Took the tram to Columbus Beach instead, but walking down the path to the beach took you past a craft market run by Haitian locals. We didn't feel unsafe, but since this was a "private island" for RCCL, we didn't expect to need cash and felt badly that we couldn't purchase anything. Provided lunch was good, and the bars were serving nice cold drinks! Read Less

We waited out a bit of rain in the morning and so by the time we hit the beach, it was PACKED!! We made it just in time for their picnic lunch but my oldest son and hubby could only get a pre-packaged sandwich as the picnic shut down at 2pm ON THE DOT!! No exceptions, as there was staff to feed with the leftovers. There seemed to be quite a number of people disppointed at missing the picnic. It was a little upsetting to see the food going to the staff when paying passengers were "cut off". We don't mind sharing, everyone needs to eat but there was nothing worth eating left for the passengers. Btw...my hubby was late because he has paying for my son to do the $119 zip-line. Additionally, it kind of sucked that we had to pay and additional $20 for my 12 yr old to play in the inflatables area near the beach. The nickel and diming continues...at least the beer was included. Read Less

Overall this was my least favourite port. I found the beaches very busy with people everywhere. The lines for food on the Island was also long. What I found most troubling about Labdee was the desperation of the Hattian people working on the Island. Everywhere I went someone was trying to get my attention and asking for money.
