As the ship's excursions weren't suitable for me as a user with mobility issues, we just wandered into the town. The day's weather wasn't great being a little dull and grey.

We took the extended trip to Santiago de Compostela, very worth doing if you have not been. Only an hour's drive and an informative tour with enough free time.

The department store Corte de Ingles provides a complimentary shuttle to their store and offers a free glass of vino and tapps in their cafe at the bar. The shop is worth a visit especially as they give 10 % discount for vistors on the second purchase and tax refund for non EU citizens.it was a wet day in Coruna so it was pleasant way to spend a few hours enjoying a nice lunch in the restaurant. We walked to the museum of Man which was modern and interactive. Although everything was in Spanish we enjoyed the museum. We then continued to walk around to see the lighthouse and carried on walking back to the ship.
