From there, we took a train to Santiago de Compostela. There, the walk to the main sites was 15-20 minutes, an slightly uphill. Read Less

The ship docks close to the centre easy to get off and walk into the centre or the old town. Lovely sea front for a good long walk with several monuments to see.

Very nice port first time in La Coruna, made all the interesting because of the first visit by Britannia, berthed right in the town and we were given a very nice farewell, the only port to do this.

This was the first time the Britannia has been to this port and consequently we were given a lovely send off with cannons and water tugs saluting us. As this was our last port of call we had a great sail-away party too!

Enjoyed walking round and funding grave if Sir John Moore. Beautiful glass balconies giving it the name of The Crystal City. Lovely square yo sit and have coffee.
