We had reserved a rental car at this port, but we didn't have to. The rental car place is waiting with a flag to offer cars to people as they walk out of the ship. We had been to old Olympia before so we decided to just hop off and walk around at the port. We then saw a bus for €10 that was going to Pyrgos. Can’t say it was that enjoyable and there wasnt a lot to see at Pyrgos. If you’ve never been you should take the trip to Olympia at least once otherwise just recommend walking around the port and checking out the local shops and restaurants. ...

We took the beach excursion here as a last minute decision. The ship crew was very nice to get us on at the last moment.
