Do people just go on cruises to moan about things??? Our holiday was perfect from start to finish. The food, the entertainment, the destinations, the excursions, the staff, the cleaners, the ship....everything was perfect!
The 2 dancers on board george and alex were lovely, Katie, Harlequin and the young blonde lady who played Tinkerbell in the Peter Pan show were really polite friendly and ...
Five Stars * * * * * for our 5th cruise with Thomson/Marella and the 2nd time for Pride of Panama. Booked through Sunwing, we flew from Toronto to Montego Bay, just under 4 hours, no time change. Aircraft (737) was a bit cramped but ok for the short flight. Immigration in Jamaica is always a bit unorganized, just take your time, make sure you have a pen.
Marella reps were in the terminal to ...
This was a value for money proposition and we were not disappointed in the slightest.
Booked our cruise through Sunwing from Toronto, and paid the extra $60 for the premium package. Well worth it, especially if you travel often: priority check-in and boarding at both Pearson and Sangster, advance choice of seats, and a $5o future travel certificate.
As only one of us really drinks alcohol, ...
Initially we chose this because it seemed like a good deal being a first cruise for thee both of us. We were very pleasantly surprised. The ship is not the newest, best, or the largest and quite frankly I’m glad.
Our room was a balcony suite, good size and clean. Our room crew were so nice and helpful and that goes for every one of the crew we came across.
The bartenders at the Atrium ...
Having been on Discovery1 last march we were interested to see the differences, which were very minor.
The crew as on all Marella cruise ships were excellent, and wre always helpful. The ship was in good condition for its age but I have seen worst on younger P & O. The food for us was always very good but we are early eaters and the food was ALWAYS hot. Special mention must go to Surf & Turf ...
Heard from friends of Marella Discovery 2, especially the ' all inclusive' feature.
My wife and I have done 8 cruises before and we were impressed with the service, the politeness of the whole crew of Marella Discovery 2. Never seen in any of the ships before the amount of drinks ( free ) available on that ship ... Anywhere on any floor you are greeted with carts of drinks. On the deck, almost ...
Chose the cruise because of the itinerary. Have cruised the Caribbean before but this cruise visited places we had'nt been. Cuba, Costa Rica, Panama and Columbia to name a few. We were delighted to find we not only had a great itinerary but we also were on a great ship. The entertainment was fantastic , 12 different shows and 2 guest artists in 14 nights. Cabin was ample in size, food was good ...
This was an all inclusive ship so all drinks/food/tips and the service was incredible.
We were especially impressed with how approachable ALL the staff were and they were all great fun . The cruise director was very down to earth and happy to talk to everyone and take part in anything.
You could do as much or as little as you wanted on this ship - there were enough sunbeds if you wanted them ...
Arrival at Gatwick did not go according to plan as there was conflict regarding checking our bags in the night before. ON FLY CRUISES YOU CANNOT DO THIs Otherwise embarkation and disembarkation was speedy and efficient
This cruise came up to all our expectations with one major exception that is the volume of the entertainment on deck 9 and in the Atrium. In the afternoon on deck 9 it was what ...
There was an awesome deal through Wagjag & Sunwing so since we'd never been on a cruise before thought we'd try it & so glad we did as it's been our best trip ever by far! I'll never forget from the very first moment when we opened the door to our cabin the view that awaited us through a huge window over top of our headboard & beautiful accommodations took our breath away! The staff were so ...
