This is a great 'small' fishing village. Lots of fun to walk around the village and have lunch in the little restaurants. One of our favorite ports.

Would love to go there again. We went to Isla Ixtapa, went snorkeling at Coral Beach, it was beautiful! Had a decent lunch of local cuisine. Walked on some the trails and had a really great time! When we returned to Zihuatanejo we had plenty of time to shop and found lots of bargains.

Very good port with plenty of places to see and things to do without taking a tour. Never felt uncomfortable at all and really wished we had had more time here. ...
Always delightful. Spend ten bucks and go around the corner to La Ropa beach to La Perla restaurant. Clean, buckets of beer, good and very cheap food, buckets of beer, NO VENDORS to speak of, Sit and look at the ship in the bay.
