This was a dream of mine to do a 5 star cruise in an exotic port, Istanbul we sailed to Ephesus,Santorini,Rome,Livorno,Monte Carlo,Marseille then Barcelona. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food amazing fresh made to order. The ship was well maintained, immaculately clean. The shows were entertaining, however some of the comedians weren't that funny. The casino was dead,no life in it and ...

We had long talked about booking a cruise, and spent a lot of time researching the different options and itineraries. As we have stayed with Regent Hotels before and we had read a lot if good things about Regent Seven Seas, when we this cruise, the Red Sea Odyssey, from Istanbul to Dubai, we thought it was a good choice. The cruise was very expensive and was the most expensive holiday we have ever ...

Not what we expected and not what we paid for!

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

We sailed with Regent on Seven Seas Voyager from Istanbul to Dubai over 21 nights. We booked and paid for a concierge level cabin and selected cabin 741 from the deck plans as we felt that, being midship and not too high, it would be more stable than some other cabins. After an absolute comedy of errors involving our booking disappearing completely, amongst other things, we finally boarded at ...

My husband and I had booked this cruise because it visited some different places. I particularly wanted to visit Volos because it offered a trip to the Meteora Monasteries in central Greece, which are otherwise hard to reach. So we were more than disappointed when told on boarding the ship that this stop was cancelled. Because of the problems with Superstorm Sandy, the ship was staying an extra ...

Before I start and give my review of this cruise, I would just like to tell you my travelling companion and I have worked in the travel industry for over twenty years and we have both held senior positions on cruise ships in the past. After embarking the ship in Istanbul for our Holy land cruise on the 6th of November we were amazed how quickly we got through the terminal and onto the ...

I have sailed on many lines, however this was my first cruise on Celebrity. My sister and brother in law with whom I sailed have enjoyed saIling with Celebrity and assured me that I would also do so. They were wrong, I was very disappointed. This was the first time that I travelled as a single, consequently paying for two was a huge expense and I would only cruise again if singles get a better ...

Firstly, let me say this is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review in 14 cruises. We flew to Istanbul on Oct 25 after spending 3 weeks in Holland, arriving later afternoon and proceeded directly onto the Constellation. We were immediately told there was an issue on board from the previous cruise re Norovirus and we would be able to go to our cabins around 5pm after the ship ...

Due to a lack of proper sanitation/hygienic conditions on the ship, there was an outbreak (publicly announced throughout the ship) of a gastrointestinal virus which I contracted. My immune system was not up to battling the bug, I could not function nor eat for one full day and thereafter medically quaranteed for 24 hours. Unfortunately, the virus struck at a very critical time so I missed what I ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Odyssey

I will start this review by sailing the year before on the Seadream II. Even though that ship is small and a little older, it was a remarkable cruise. The service was unbelievable and it left a lasting impression. I had assumed that because of the awards and the hype, that Seabourne would be better. I was sadly mistaken. I wished we had just gone back to the Seadream. I will tell where ...
