We planned on doing very little and decided to go into town. This time we skipped the shuttle and instead of spending €48 for the three of us we spent €12 on a local bus that was a 2-minute walk past the MSC shuttle. This was a pattern we saw in every port – a VERY expensive MSC option that should be avoided at all cost. We expected very little and had a great visit to the cathedral/fort on the top of the hill and lunched at a café in the old section of town. If you have kids there’s a nice little playground right along the main street by the bus drop off – great to let them burn off some energy! Read Less

Ibiza: This is an easy walk to the terminal where you can hop on a shuttle to take you into the city. When we were planning our trip to Ibiza, we wanted to rent a jeep for the day but were told they were all sold out. When we arrived at the terminal we saw plenty of taxis and a few car rental places and were able to rent a jeep on the spot! So we drove to a small beach area (Cala d'Hort) that was absolutely beautiful. We had lunch there and found a nearby trail (15 min walk) that led to stunning views of the coast below. We drove back into town for the afternoon and had no trouble finding parking...we walked up to the old castle (D'alt Villa) and then drove through the narrow downtown area. Just a head's up...even though we had a map, to get around the island was a bit more difficult than we anticipated because not all the roads on the map were marked. If you just want to shuttle into town for the day, there is a ocean front promenade with restaurants and shops and the old castle is within walking distance to explore. Ibiza was also one of our fav ports. Read Less

Another shuttle ride, longer one taking about 20 mins and costing 10 euros per person for the return trip. This took us to the port area where lots of very nice expensive yachts are moored up, so an excuse for some envy time before heading up into the old town. We had a small map but it is very easy to find as you see the castle dominating the skyline in front of you, so just head forwards and upwards! We had expected the old town to have a bit more character and I think we missed out as much seemed closed, possibly as it was Sunday. Once off the shuttle it's very easy to do on your own. We did the walk up round the city walls and got some great views but overall felt a little underwhelmed; this was our least favourite port on the trip. It was OK, just didn't really wow us Read Less

Did our own walking tour of the old town, which had stunning views at the top of the island. Just make sure you take the walk steadily and ensure you have sun cream on and lots of water to drink.

I would spend the day at a beach club and see the town in the early evening.

From Ibiza you can go in 30 minutes with ferry to the island of Formentera, if not, get a water taxi and visit some beaches around the town. In the evening take a walk up to the cathedral, in the old town. you will enjoy a great view!

We didn't expect to enjoy this much, as we limited ourselves to waking through the old town. Again, this port exceeded our expectations. Beautiful castle area with stunning views. Great old town with narrow and winding streets.

Went to the beach-about an hour's taxi drive away. Amazing. Sant Josep de Sa Talaia. Had two restaurants and bars. Bought a beach blanket from a local vendor. Spent the day in the sun. Highly recommend.

Cute and Quaint. Nothing overly exciting. Had lunch in the village and shopped but didn't do any excursions.
