Did not go to North Cape as advised it was a little bit of a tourist trap but believe some that went really enjoyed it. Did the hike with excursion team which was once again very enjoyable, hard work climbing up steep snowy hill, but worthwhile for view at top. Hot chocolate and chocolate biscuits provided by the excursion team was most welcome. ...

The drive to North Cape is a real exposure to barren tundra. A visit to the Sami craft shop is interesting. The North Cape Hall is very informative. Dress well for the weather — the day spent there was bloody nasty with cold rain and very gusty winds high enough to throw one off balance. Drive to North Cape. Bus from ship to North Cape. Stopped along the way to see a typical home of original inhabitance, even petted a reindeer. Visited North Cape, northernmost point in Europe - windy and snow on 28 June! We enjoyed this trip. ...
