Fabulous cruise taking in The Great Wall of China. Absolutely fantastic.

We chose this cruise because we are fascinated with going east. It took in many places we have heard of but wouldn't want to go for a long period. It ticked every box. The ship was everything and more than we expected. The crew were excellent and our cabin guy Renz was brilliant. He helped us with everything we asked of him. The food was brilliant, everywhere. Our family upgraded us for ...

We have cruised on the Millennium many times. Yes, it is now an older ship. The experience is great. The crew works hard to make sure everyone has a great vacation. Celebrity policies favor the passenger too. Want to have fun. The Captain was always available to the passengers, walking around greeting passengers and inspecting the activities. The cruise director works tirelessly to make ...

We chose this cruise because of the destinations. We have travelled before to Asia in February. It is interesting as it’s the Chinese New Year celebrations. Halong bay is awesome. The weather in all destinations was pleasantly hot ho chi min was the hottest at 33 degrees. The millennium is a lovely ship the food was lovely and the theatre very comfortable with excellent shows. Cafe el bacio served ...

For us, Hong Kong is always worth a visit and starting a cruise there seemed a good idea. Departing from the Ocean Terminal in Hong Kong was a fantastic and unforgettable experience. The itinerary of this cruise through the South China Sea was very attractive. Manila, Coron, Porto Princessa, Sandakan, Kota Kinabalu, Brunei and Singapore. Only Manila we found disappointing, despite its beautiful ...

Better than last year

We enjoyed our South Asia Immersion cruise on the Millennium very much indeed. Certainly the fabulous weather contributed significantly to this. A really good captain and crew plus entertainment from two very talented house bands were other important factors. We thought the food in the Oceanview was better than last year but this may be that I had learned to better navigate the serving stations ...

Great crew, great cruise!

We chose to do this cruise because it is relatively close to home (only about 8 1/2 hours to Hong Kong and 7 1/2 from Singapore). A lot closer than Europe or the US. We have been to Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok many times and to Vietnam in 1999. We kept ourselves amused in Hong Kong by walking from our hotel the Harbour Grand to the top of The Peak. It is a long way but if you are into ...

Traveling with our dear friends, one of whom is a Veteran that served in Vietnam 50 years ago and wanted to finally go back to see it again, we originally selected this cruise because the itinerary matched with what we were interested in seeing. Now, having completed the journey and enjoying every minute of it, I'm compelled to let others know how pleased we were for choosing Oceania's Nautica as ...

They covered it all; a great cruise

The ship is lovely, all paneled walls and elegant furnishings. People have referred to it as old world. I also like very much that it is smaller than the ones we have been on in the past. It is not so exhausting to go from one end to the other all day. I also feel that it is easier to meet people when there are fewer of them. You are more likely to see people you have seen before. The ...

Interesting ports, great ship, and fantastic staff!

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary, interesting ports in Asia, and the multiple overnights in some ports. One of the challenges was the distance many of the ports were to the major sights. Normally we would do excursions on our own or jump in a cab, but we didn't feel able to do that many times. We booked more expensive, ship-offered excursions for 3 of 6 ports. They were extremely long ...

We chose this particular cruise due to its itinerary. Due to some negative reviews I was becoming increasingly concerned regarding the ships presentation. I should not have worried, the ship was in my view well presented, yes, it is showing some wear, however like a good bottle of wine is is aging well. The ships restaurants provided a varied menu, our favourite was however ‘Hot Rocks’ the ...
