As good as ever

Review for a Asia Cruise on Silver Shadow

I returned to Silversea after four years (having been unable to travel in that time) and as a solo traveller for the first time - it was like coming home, from the initial warm welcome, the brilliant service, superb food (much improved since last time), lovely butler service (thank you Gideon), as much champagne as I could drink - yes Silver Shadow is a little tired in places but it is still very ...

Advertising price, itinerary. Being our first cruise we were looking for value inclusions. We accepted the varied reviews but made our decision based on what we were looking for. My Dining Time, quality table settings, sparkling white tablecloths and the wait staff so attentive, cheerfull smiling at every sitting. Quality meals, breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Did 3 short B2B's on Ovation out of Hong Kong And Shenzhen and enjoyed all of them. Loved the mix of different cultures on board. Not our first time on this class of ship so felt like home before we even boarded. The service and friendliness from the crew was as good I have seen on any ship. Food was good, mainly geared towards Asian tastes but still plenty of variety. One of the cruises had 4600 ...

Thoroughly enjoyable cruise around Japan

This was our 4th cruise and 1st with RCCL this year. We chose this particular cruise as we’d never been to Japan. Because the ship sailed out of Hong Kong, we were anticipating a large contingent of passengers from Hong Kong and mainland China. While more than half of the passengers were Asian, and some spoke limited English, there was a significant number of passengers from Australia, North ...

Exceeded our (HIGH) Expectations

Review for a Asia Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

We chose this cruise for several reasons: The reputation of Regent, the itinerary (Hong Kong, coast of Vietnam, Singapore and ended in (70 miles away) near Bangkok, and a chance to travel with good friends. We found almost every aspect of this voyage to be outstanding. The staff, from Captain Felice, to the other 400+ officers and employees, was friendly, efficient, and service-oriented. The ...

We saw the advertisement for the cruise from Hong Kong to Tokyo via China in the weekend Australian newspaper. The service staff, in the cabins and restaurants, were particularly impressive. Genuine friendliness and welcoming. Extremely helpful and obliging - no request was too much or too problematic to carry out. The entertainment in the theatre was of a very high standard - each evening's ...

Pick the finest hotel and place it on a boat. You are welcomed and within a day the entire crew addresses you by name. Clean, outstanding food choices, wonderful products and towels, outstanding crew and the facilities are beyond first class. There is so much to do on a "sea day." You can relax or stay as busy as you desire. Everything is included so that you do not need to worry about extra ...

Our overall impression of the Silver Whisper was amazing. The services were excellent. We had a wonderful butler and maid. The attention to every detail made us feel very special. The food was amazing and all our waiters were quite efficient as well as entertaining. The ports were places we never dreamed of seeing and experiencing. We would definitely recommend the Silver Seas. The only ...
