We actually docked in Le Havre and rented a car for the day. We visited Bayeux, thoroughly enjoying the tapestry and the cathedral, then paid a visit to the small D-Day museum at Arromanches and the beaches of Gold, Juno and Sword. We then spent a couple of hours strolling around Honfleur before returning the car. Honfleur is extremely charming, with a small harbor and many nice sidewalk cafes. ...
