NEVER AGAIN!!

Review for a Cuba Cruise on MSC Armonia

MSC changed the cabin TWICE after we had booked and had the booking confirmed. We had booked an Aurea suite which they honoured but put us at the front of the ship with a connecting door. we could hear every conversation of the people next door as the door was so thin. The food was sparse with very little choice and poor quality. If you like pasta and veal you would be ok. The pasta & veal was ...

My wife and I needed a decent holiday somewere were it is warm. A cruise seemed to be ideal since we had a good experience with a cruise in 2011. MSC cruises seemed a decent provider (boy were we wrong there). We did not wanted to book COSTA due to the reviews saying that the language used on board was Italian. The same counts for at least the MSC Armonia, the whole entertainment crew (most of ...

This cruise was chosen for its destinations which were wonderful. The ship is old and tired with absolutely no luxurious features. The restaurant is bright and noisy and although waiting staff are friendly the service is often slow, meal portions tiny, no hot beverages served in restaurant. Water is chargeable! After a couple of nights in the restaurant, dressed casually in line with most other ...

Failed to deliver most of the itinerary

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Star Flyer

This is a very hard one to score. The vessel is a sailing cruise ship (barquentine) which takes a maximum of 170 guests. It is extremely well-appointed and the crew are enthusiastic and attentive. We would particularly comment on the outstanding food which was served throughout our 7-day cruise. So far, it rates 5 stars. The problem was that it failed to deliver us to several of the ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Armonia

I chose this cruise based on its itinerary and having viewed the website thought the ship would be potentially a little be dated in style but wasn't concerned that in this day and age that the service, food quality and overall experience would be to much of an issue. Afterall, its is an international cruise line in a competitive part of the world - you are spoilt for choice of cruises. I was ...

Right from the start we had hassles. We did not embark 'till 19:30 (Correct Time)and as soon as we hit the deck we were harassed by three different staff members trying to sell us drinks packages and this is before we got off the deck. We managed to get to the dining room by 21:00 and same hard sell from the waiter. Still undecided we settled for two glasses of house wine. Seeing as there was ...

My wife and I went on an MSC Carribean Cruise, the Cuba Special Cruise, from December 22nd to December 28th, 2015. On December 22nd when we arrived at Rome Fiumicino Airport we were welcomed by three very nice young ladies who helped us to carry out the check-in procedures. So far so good, but as soon as we reached our gate the ordeal started. The Meridiana flight, coming from Milan, that MSC had ...

Worst Way to Visit Cuba

In the past, when I saw one star reviews for vacations I asked myself how people can do that for 5 star hotels. Well, here I am writing my one star (or should be 0) for this Cruise. First of all, I have to say that I loved Cuba. I went to cuba with very low expectations, I was in a resort in Varadero the week before the cruise and the experience was excellent, including the resort, the people, ...

My husband and I have been on over 20 cruises, and this was the worst. Before booking this cruise around Cuba on the Louis Cristal, we went to a presentation by Cuba Cruise that was advertised in our local Toronto, Ontario newspaper. We were shown a very slick movie highlighting the Louis Cristal, and many of the wonderful things that we could enjoy while on this luxurious cruise ship including ...

Cuba Amazing, Ship Awful

After many hours traveling to Havana and then hours in immigration , we had expected better. Transfer was in an ageing Transit Van! The ship, at last, the cabin, the deluxe cabin the size of a postage stamp. Next dinner, don't even go there - horrific. Good job I like bread as I was going to have to get used to it. Captain, was arrogant! Rude and obnoxious, needs to be keel hawled for poor ...
