The pool is very nice and has a swim up bar, and chairs and tables built in on some end. We ate in the air conditioned restaurant there. The wildlife experience was very small, but has a nice little butterfly habitat, and some pretty parrots. Read Less

Having a private island seems to be all the rage...here it just felt like a cheap port call option. Corporate shops and restaurants served pricey goods, the beach was manufactured from rough and imported sand. Pool was nice for about an hour. Don't do the paddleboarding/kayaking; that lagoon is about the size of an olympic swimming pool. Only local flavor was the butterfly and bird exhibit with a local expert on hand to provide periodic tours. Despite only a half day port call, we were back on the boat by lunchtime ready for a sea day. Read Less

I cant rate the port because of high winds we weren't able to go there. I was disappointed but safety comes first. It gives me a reason to go back there on another cruise.

This place exceeded our rather high expectations. I cannot wait to go back. Once back on the boat, we realized we hadn't even ventured halfway down the island! There is so much to see and do and it is truly breathtaking. There is something for everyone here. I highly recommend stopping to purchase chocolate bars on your way in. They will store them until you are headed back to the ship. They will be more expensive in Costa Maya. Read Less

Harvest Caye was awesome. It was a Norwegian specific area and had quite a bit to do. There were bars, restaurants, a pool with a walk up bar, the ocean, zip line, and paddle board adventures. It had a little of everything for everyone. We started with the paddle board event, It was neat to see all the fish in the area and the work they are doing to rebuild the marine life there. Read Less

This port is owned by NCL and activities are sponsored by them. We booked a Lagoon & Mangrove tour. Departure seemed very unorgainized. We were close to the end of the line and when we got ready to board the boat, the only seats left were in full sun an on opposite sides and ends of the boat. No attempt was made to ask other people to move or shift seats so my husband and i could sit together. After a "conversation" with NCL staff, we cancelled the excursion. Our money was refunded. Shopping is available in port. Read Less

This is an excellent port with tons of different activities available at an extra charge. Lots of space on the beach and the pool is huge. We really enjoyed this stop.

We did the zipline and paddle boards. The island does not take amex which was a disappointment as we weren't told prior to getting on island adn were not able to buy lunch, drinks or souveniers. Loss for the economy of the island.

The beach was only so-so. The ground up coral made me sad for whatever reef it was taken from, and there were few activities worthwhile, especially if you didn't want to spend a lot of money. Kind of boring.
