Hmburg is a wondeful city, although the weather can be whacky! Average July temperature is 74 degrees. Pre cruise, we had a high one day of 54. Post cruise the high was 98 degree. That does average out to 72 degrees, but we didn't plan on either extreme! ...

Ship docked close to city centre. A short 20 minute walk on the flat and you are right in the middle of it.
Only thing is that you have to pay to use the loo. It was only 50 cents in Starbucks.
It's a right bugger when you've just had loads of tea/coffee and juice for breakfast before getting off the ship. Maybe I am finally getting old!
