Sunday, we were in Halifax and we walked along the harbor then toured the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. We had some other activities planned but ended up spending 2-3 hours at the museum. It was $15 US for 2 of us and well worth the price. Admission included a 20-minute movie shown in a dome outside. The movie was just okay. We enjoyed walking around Halifax. We have been here before also, and took advantage of this to catch up on things we had missed the first time. Our cruise ship dock was about 10-15 minutes walk to the center of town, and we did some sightseeing along the way. A beautiful, pleasant day overall. ...

Peggy's Cove. Absolute must see. We rented a car which was a quarter of what the ship excursions cost. Car rental is in the train station right across from the port. And having the car let us amble about Peggy's Cove and enjoy some local lobster rolls. YUM! We visited the citadel and ambled about the port.
