The beach is amazing. It is a couple miles long if you want a long walk and very pretty. It is carnival's private island so the crew from the ship serves lunch on the island at a picnic facility. It was similar quality to lido deck. Snorkeling is past the far point around the bend. Or they have a small man made area near the kids water playground where we saw a few fish. Walking down to see the sting rays was cool too. Read Less

This was pretty nice. It was a Hot Day. We walked pretty far down the beach where it was less crowded but still crowded. The water is an unreal light aqua/blue with the finest white sand. Water Temp around 84 degrees. Nice for kids because it was very gradual entry and depth change with little to no waves. A little boring for me and the bars are too corporate and expensive. I thought the food was sub-par, but others liked it. It didn't compare to the food we had at a beach shack in Grand Turk. But it was free...unlike beers/drinks where your ship package doesn't come into play. Rant-Only one working water tap with a line of 20 people waiting to use it on our very hot day. Everything else was pay to play. Corporate overreach or bad maintenance? Read Less

This beach and island are absolutely beautiful!! Perfect white sand and blue water. It has a well developed entry area, paved with signs up. It has volleyball pits, basketball courts, and an area for the BBQ lunch. It is a privately owned island by a Carnival subsidiary- Holland. There are NO beach umbrellas anywhere. There is an area down near the mouth of the cay where the transport comes in that has a kids play area, that has umbreallas, I believe. But if you are on the main area you have no shade at all. No trees, nothing. It is almost unbearable. They do provide a free (included in your cruise price) BBQ lunch. It's not announced, so you have to watch the time yourself. All in all, this was truly our favorite beach. Read Less
