I think this is suppose to be Haiti (Labadee). We have been there many times before, beautiful private island. However, there was another RCI ship in port at the same time (before us). Way too crowded. Too many people and not enjoyable at all. Too many lines to stand in. Too much.... Didn't enjoy ourselves this time. RCI should have only one ship at a time in this port. Even though they ...

If you are on the starboard (right) side of the ship at port you will have the most incredible views of Mount Carmel and the city of Haifa. From Haifa we visited Bethlehem, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Do yourself a favor and take the excursion to Bethlehem and Jerusalem. It is the most moving experience. BE ADVISED - When the excursion says not for someone with mobility problems, they really mean it ...

We also used Cruising excursions.com for this tour. Our tour guide was Jossi and he was excellent. We were able to see the entire Sea of Galilee area, Nazareth and the Jordan River along with a trip to and lunch at a kibbutz. Fantastic insights into the biblical history of the area. ...

We had contracted our own tour guide and so many fascinating cities in the northern and eastern part of Israel. Visit the Galilee, see the olive and grape fields. Visit Bahia Gardens in Haifa. Go to the grotto on the Lebanese border. Israel is full of history. Taste it. ...

We were routed here for 3 days after Ashdod port was closed to cruise traffic. We were docked at the far end of the port and needed to be transmitted by bus to the terminal. Haifa is a lovely mountainside city. The Bahai Gardens are well worth a visit. Traffic, as everywhere in Israel, is fairly awful. ...

Went sailing on the Sea of Galilee. Visited the Jordan River just below the Sea of Galilee. At the river there were these gigantic river rats that would swim right up to the individuals getting baptized. Cover the children's eyes, people were baptizing themselves with nothing on but a THIN sheet. ...
