115 Great Stirrup Cay Cruise Reviews

Only one pier, so if you're planning to tender, pray you're not the littler ship. There was a big ship docked, so we got cancelled because NCL can't figure it out after 40 years of owning this island. Very disappointing.

We were on tender 10. The last to depart with guests. We left 2 hr after scheduled and arrived on island when all the food venues closing. By 2 pm it was windy but the water was beautiful still. It was an hour in line to get back on a tender with last tender at 5. This was without a doubt extremely poorly planned as NCL had complete control of this venue and getting us on and off the island. They could have continued the food venues for at least another hour or two to accommodate their delays Read Less

This stop was a disaster. Another NCL ship got there before us and so we waited for tenders. The wait for tenders was over an hour each way and all of the beach chairs except for a few in the back rows were taken.

Horrible. Tendering took hours to get to the beach. Did not know how to use Platinum status to get an earlier tender. Cay itself was not all that impressive compared to other cruise line private island.

We were supposed to start excursion at 11:00. We had to wait on ship in common area for 2.5 hours before getting to island. Food on Island was all outside with flies all over food.

So disappointing! When we docked we saw this AMAZING island with slides and activities and zip lines and a beautiful beach and we got super excited only to be told that was ROYAL CARRIBEAN's island and we were instead going to this tiny little beach with no umbrellas, activities for the kids or anything. It was nothing like what the website made it look like or similar to the private islands offered by other cruise ships. One of the lifeguards said their goal is to "try to make it like royal's...but that will take years" Read Less

NCL needs to figure out how to have a plan B when tendering to this island isnt possible due to weather. We don't think sitting on the boat all day is an acceptable plan B.

No announcement made to explain you required and tender reservation. Did it that morning which put us back hours again. Once we got there. It was loaded. No chairs. Food was ok.

Cheap tacky island with nothing to do owned by Norwegian as a tourist trap to have you pay for drinks all day. Very boring and not tropical looking at all. The Carnival island looked much better with water parks and slides go with them
