By the time we woke up our ship was already docked in Geiranger, so we missed the sail in. We probably wouldn't have seen much anyway as the fog was socked in. A small place so a few hours was enough, unless you do one their long hikes. We booked via P&O the ferry from Hellesylt to Geiranger. The scenery en route was absolutely fabulous. We had 3 hours their and we hiked along the waterfall and was treated to some dramatic torrents of water and the view down to the port. In Geiranger our electric bike excursion was not until the afternoon so my husband and I decided to explore and hike up to the waterwall on our own. We spent about 4 hours hiking up the trail.
